The proposals are open for public comment from October 1 to October 22, 2026, and would affect High Street, Boutport Street, Queen Street, Castle Street, Bear Street, The Square, The Strand, Taw Vale, Butchers Row and Silver Street, along with many smaller streets and lanes in the town centre.
