Maternity unit fears prompt call for guarantee
We've got some concerning news from the maternity unit. It's been reported that nearly 200 local women have had to travel to Exeter to give birth since our unit closed its doors. This is a real worry for so many families right here in Barnstaple.
Campaigners say 194 women travelled to Exeter to give birth since the Barnstaple unit's closure.
